Original art, locally created

Buckinghamshire Art Society is excited to unveil its Spring Exhibition at The Fitzwilliam Centre, Windsor End, Beaconsfield, running from Saturday 1 May to Monday 3 May 2026, 10am–5pm daily.

This spring showcase brings together some of the county’s most talented artists, offering a brilliant chance to enjoy new work, meet the creators, and get closer to the vibrant local arts scene.

A special Preview Evening will take place on Friday 30 April at 6.30pm, giving visitors the first opportunity to explore the exhibition and speak directly with exhibiting artists.

With many new committee members joining the Society, including new Co‑Chairs, there’s a renewed energy behind this year’s event.

Co‑Chair Lizzy Freemantle said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming as many local people as possible to experience the work of some of the county’s best artists. This is an open exhibition so members’ pieces will be displayed alongside other entrants as well - and I can guarantee there will a wide range of high quality art to appreciate.”

Co‑Chair Ian Warr added: “You’ll find outstanding paintings, illustrations and 3D work you won’t see anywhere else. The exhibition is a great opportunity to purchase something really special and you’ll have the added satisfaction of knowing it was made right here in Buckinghamshire.”

Whether you’re an art lover, a collector, or simply curious, the exhibition offers a wide variety of captivating pieces, from bold contemporary work to beautifully crafted traditional styles.

It’s the perfect place to discover something special, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift, while supporting a thriving creative community.

Everyone is welcome, and entry is free.
