I am a British-Italian artist based in Buckinghamshire, originally from the open plains of Piedmont in northern Italy. I paint mostly in oils, working from sketches, memory, and those moments when light or atmosphere stop me in my tracks.
My work began with the quiet landscapes of the countryside, but in recent years, it has also found its way into cities and among people. Whether it is a canal, a street at dusk, or a figure by the water, I look for the same sense of stillness, curiosity, and fleeting beauty that first drew me to painting.
I paint what I notice and sometimes what I miss. My aim is to capture the small transformations that happen when light meets surface and time seems to slow.
Each painting is a way of holding onto something brief: the glow of a streetlight after rain, the calm of a hedge in late afternoon, or a shared moment that lingers longer than expected.
