2. The BAS Young Artist Award

Every year BAS invites all schools and colleges in Buckinghamshire to submit paintings, sculptures and prints created by young artists aged between 16 and 18. We are keen to recognize and reward talented future artists. Entries are judged by a panel of BAS members.

The contest takes place each autumn in connection with the BAS Autumn Exhibition.
The 2010 winners are as follows and these paintings were exhibited alongside member's work at the Autumn Exhibition as the photograph below shows.

Buckinghamshire's Young Artist Award 2011:

First Prize: – a BAS certificate and £100 to the winner plus an engraved trophy for the school
